Behind the Frame: Edward Hopper

This portion of the project is to to inform and immerse the guest in the life and times of Edward Hopper. This area features an immersive 3D recreation of his famous “Lighthouse” painting, as well as a recreation of his art studio displaying his various works. This area also includes a coffee shop based on his well-known painting “The Nighthawks.”

Lighthouse Hill

Guests step into one of Edward Hopper’s famous paintings, Lighthouse Hill, recreated as a three-dimensional painting.

The Studio

After they enter, guests find a reimagining of Hopper’s studio in Greenwich Village, complete with displays of his works, and the history of the man himself.

Nighthawks

When guests are ready to leave, they can stop by the Nighthawks cafe, based on another famous painting by Hopper, and grab a variety of drinks and snacks.

Interactive Aspects

Guests can take pictures of famous paintings using an AR app on their phone, giving them more information about the painting
