Brickman Cafe Re-Design
In this project, I redesigned the patio area of Ringling’s Brickman Cafe. I was inspired by organic, colorful shapes and sculptural works like those of Chihuly. I also took inspiration from satellite housing and stayed glass windows. Programs and Techniques Used: Procreate, concept sketching, Sketchup, PowerPoint.
A Brief Walk Through
The Appetizer
Guests enter the new entrance for the Brickman Café, complete with swirling, colorful shapes and ambient lighting, the perfect beginning to a late night dinner
The Main Course
The entrance takes them to the main dining area that doubles as a workspace for those on the go, group dining tables and convenient work desks are provided.
The Dessert
Large, circular windows with rimmed lighting provide a convenient light source for both day and night along both sides of the dining interior.
The Side Dish
A side-view of the dining space reveals another, more private dining area for larger groups.
The End
The exterior appearance is a combination of a sloping, metal structure, with an adobo material making up the additional dining space.
